If one resets as long as Red has not hit the wooden planck after the first shot, one may possibly have this to happen within a short amount of time. Owing the fact that none of the big boulders were destroyed after the fall, nor any starfish hanging around the ice-roids, I think that 17k instead of the usual 13k is possible. Then, I let the submarine destroy all the ice and I had 15.5k. I did not spend much time on the level, but I got this to happen once after maybe 40 tries. Then, the rocks will fall down for a few extra k’s. The planck will be damaged but will not break, however, it may happen that the icy debris of the bigger ice-roids hit again once or twice the planck, destroying it. Good is at least one way to get more points with the first shot, by having Red bounce from an ice-roid to the planck NE of them. I think scores into the 80k range are possible. Hopefully this gives you enough info to achieve a higher score. You must play with it until you find your sweet spots. How to approach this shot is too complicated for a single strategy. ![]() Where you shoot the anchors is also critical. This shot is dependant on if the sub is high or low in the water as well as his location. You want the sub to have four hits after the anchor shot so that the TNT you released with one of the anchors will sink the sub into all the boulders you dropped earlier. How you approach the anchor shot is dependant on how many hits you have left. They are indicated by a small holes in the midsection, periscope disappears, big hole in front of sub, and large hole in aft of sub. The problem with this is that the sub needs five major hits to be sunk. The easy explanation is to say shoot above the anchors, pushing them into the sub and voila, high score. ![]() I normally have one boulder hit the front of the sub and get scores in the 17-18k range.Ģnd shot is where your big points come into play. ![]() Don’t understand why, but if you shoot your 1st shot to release the boulders quickly after reset (before sub comes into view), you tend to get higher scores with the ice balls.
